﴾ And if Allah touch you with affliction, there is none to take it off but He; and if He visit you with good, then He has power over all things )
Allah *Glory be to him* is telling us that he's our creator therefor we should seek his help first before anyone else. Before we call our doctor we should call him. He's the one to beg..no one shall take away our pain but him...so let's think of things the way we should have.
Seriously HOW OFTEN do we raise our hands to him? Do we know him *Glory be to him* well enough to think of him first?
(59) And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!" (60) It is Allah Who has made the Night for you, that ye may rest therein, and the days as that which helps (you) to see. Verily Allah is full of Grace and Bounty to men: yet most men give no thanks. (61) Such is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, there is no god but He: Then how ye are deluded away from the Truth! (62)
Those whom Allah love they look at sickness from a completely different angle, they see it as a sign of mercy.
Allah forgives our sins and promises us if we showed patience that he will reward us by elevating our rank in heaven.
Allah *the All-Merciful, the Ever-merciful* says in another verse:
"Certainly, We shall test you with fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits; but give glad tidings to the patient - those who, when afflicted with calamity say, "Truly to Allah we belong, and truly to Him shall we return." it is those who will be awarded blessings and mercy from their Lord; and it is those who are the guided ones." [2:155-157]
And the prophet *peace and blessing be upon him* said: (Indeed amazing are the affairs of a believer ! They are all for his benefit; If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best for him.)
